Under The Hammer
Friday Sep 01, 2023
Friday Sep 01, 2023
Last month saw the first ever “across the card” double for Inside The Rails as both our hosts recorded a winner on the same day!
Ownership has “downs” to go with the “ups” and there have been some of them as well, but the joy that a winner can bring easily outweighs any disappointment along the way.
After chatting about shared ownership, the recent Great British Racing ownership event at Windsor and the latest horseracing news stories, the guys are joined by Jimmy George, Marketing Director at Tattersalls, the world’s oldest bloodstock auctioneers. Jimmy provides some great insight into the bloodstock sales industry and the history of the Tattersalls company.

Inside The Rails
Ever wondered what it might be like to own a racehorse?
Shared ownership through syndicates and racing clubs make this an affordable option and two syndicate managers, Phil Boyle from BG Racing and Simon Double from Solario Racing started Inside The Rails to provide listeners with an insight into the ownership experience.
Each month the guys review what is going on in horse racing and with the horses that they own and then they interview a guest from within the horse racing industry. Trainers, jockeys, broadcasters and those who run the sport have all made appearances on Inside The Rails.
